Beginner 2 and 3 Aerial Silks
If you have completed introductory classes with Swing State Aerial or elsewhere, we welcome you into continuing beginner classes, depending on your skill level. If you are new to SSA, be sure to email us to discuss the correct class placement!

Building on techniques learned in introductory classes, this series develops strength and precision in foundation skills while introducing new vocabulary, increasing stamina, and working at greater heights.

Beginner 2 Prerequistes:  Able to stand and L-sit on the silks comfortably, knowledge of French and Russian climbs, perform a footlock from the ground consistently, and hold bodyweight in only hands for minimum of 5 seconds.

Beginner 3 Prerequisites: Beginner 2 prerequistes, enter and balance in a hip key from a russian climb, consistent footlocks from a climb, knowledge of eggbeater/dancer wrap footlocks, cleanly invert between the silks from the ground without a knot.

Beginner 2, 3, 4 Technique and More
This class will offer a mix of new silks techniques along with exercises and games that introduce the “soft skills” involved with silks, such as musicality, transitions, emoting, working in unison, working on lines and fluidity, and getting comfortable with improv.

Open to any student but focusing on pre-inverting skill sets, this class will help you on your way to really polishing your practice, whether for a performance or just that perfect instagram post!
